Nothing brings out the best in truffles more than the potato’s earthy, creamy flavour. This recipe elevates a classic baked potato with rich truffle butter, crispy bacon, and melted cheese, making it an indulgent, flavour-packed dish.
  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Scrub the potatoes and pat them dry. Pierce each potato with a fork a few times, then bake for 45-60 minutes until tender.
  2. While the potatoes are baking, cook the bacon until crispy, then crumble and set aside.
  3. Once the potatoes are done, slice them open and fluff the insides with a fork. Add ½ tablespoon of truffle butter to each potato and mash it into the potato flesh.
  4. Sprinkle the crumbled bacon and cheddar cheese over the potatoes, then return them to the oven for 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  5. Drizzle each potato with truffle oil, season with salt and pepper, and garnish with chives if desired. Enjoy the ultimate truffle indulgence!
